Feldman's Bagels and Fun Adventures: Vermont and The Poconos

Hello Friends!

Sharing with you some yumminess from Feldman’s Bagels  (vegan style), and some details from a fun trip I went on last weekend with Kevin’s family.

let’s start with the bagels

Feldman’s Bagels has a lot of options for bagels and cream cheese spreads, and for my vegan friends, they even have TOFU CREAM CHEESE.

I had an everything bagel with avocado, red onion and spinach (one of my favorite combos for sandwiches).

Spinach is totally becoming one of my go to plants for protein. Growing up on egg sandwiches, it was hard to imagine having one with only veggies, but my tastebuds approve.

This was breakfast the other day before hitting the road for the Poconos, and it was such a good kickoff to a really fun weekend.

one weekend, two super fun activities

A weekend spent snow tubing at Camelbacklodge and chilling in an indoor water park at Kalahari Resorts is totally something you should add to your to-do list before the end of the season.

snow tubing

If you love snow tubing and you’ve never been to “USA’s biggest snow tubing park”, then you really need to check out Camelback.

on your mark…

We did the night tubing, and the changing lights and upbeat music made it hard to leave, so we stayed right up until ten, when they closed.

The best part is that there is a little conveyer belt off to the side that takes you right back to the top, so you can just enjoy the ride and gaze at the stars, or watch other people go down the hill.

If you’re not in the mood or you’re not a fan of the cold, you can chill by the outdoor fire pits and watch from there, or watch from inside the lodge.

the water Park

If you’re known as the “fish” in your group whenever you go anywhere with water, my friend, the indoor water park at Kalahari Resorts would be heaven for you.

Moscow Mule from the swim up bar

Going here in the winter time does mean that you won’t have access to a couple of outdoor options, but, if you’re 21 or over, you can swim outside from the swim up bar (where we spent most of our time while we were here, hehe).

The list is never-ending as far as fun things to do in the water park, from shooting down water slides, to catching a wave in the wave pool or on the “flowrider”.
