Sharing with you some yumminess from Feldman’s Bagels (vegan style), and some details from a fun trip I went on last weekend with Kevin’s family.
let’s start with the bagels
Feldman’s Bagels has a lot of options for bagels and cream cheese spreads, and for my vegan friends, they even have TOFU CREAM CHEESE.
I had an everything bagel with avocado, red onion and spinach (one of my favorite combos for sandwiches).
Spinach is totally becoming one of my go to plants for protein. Growing up on egg sandwiches, it was hard to imagine having one with only veggies, but my tastebuds approve.
This was breakfast the other day before hitting the road for the Poconos, and it was such a good kickoff to a really fun weekend.
one weekend, two super fun activities
If you love snow tubing and you’ve never been to “USA’s biggest snow tubing park”, then you really need to check out Camelback.
We did the night tubing, and the changing lights and upbeat music made it hard to leave, so we stayed right up until ten, when they closed.
The best part is that there is a little conveyer belt off to the side that takes you right back to the top, so you can just enjoy the ride and gaze at the stars, or watch other people go down the hill.
If you’re not in the mood or you’re not a fan of the cold, you can chill by the outdoor fire pits and watch from there, or watch from inside the lodge.
the water Park
If you’re known as the “fish” in your group whenever you go anywhere with water, my friend, the indoor water park at Kalahari Resorts would be heaven for you.
Going here in the winter time does mean that you won’t have access to a couple of outdoor options, but, if you’re 21 or over, you can swim outside from the swim up bar (where we spent most of our time while we were here, hehe).
The list is never-ending as far as fun things to do in the water park, from shooting down water slides, to catching a wave in the wave pool or on the “flowrider”.
Speaking of fun adventures and traveling and all that good stuff, have you heard of the Rayka App yet?
It’s the first travel app that allows you to explore travel recommendations on a social platform.
Not only is it a great place to connect with fellow travelers, it’s also a place where you can build your own travel lists, and provide travel recommendations.
If you have some cool places you want to talk about, you should totally download the Rayka App ,make a profile and share away.
p.s. if you want to see my lists and what I have to share on my Rayka profile so far, you should totally follow me ->healthindulgenceblog<- I’m totally going to add last weekends adventures to my lists <3
