Raw Banana Bread Bites

Trade in the flour and sugar for oats and maple syrup, add some coconut oil and dates, keep the banana and the walnuts, and you have a raw, vegan, gluten free treat that tastes like good ol’ banana bread.

These Banana Bread Bites are a healthy alternative for regular banana bread; very similar in flavor, but very different in texture.

While these bites don’t have the same nature as regular banana bread, they do have valuable nutrients from straight-forward ingredients; the kind of ingredients that give your body the energy it needs.


Has someone ever told you that they gave up coffee when they started drinking smoothies? If not, let me be the first person you hear that from, because I went from having about two cups a day, to a couple cups a month.

If you are tired of feeling weighed down, just start by adding more life into your diet; by life, I mean natural ingredients (especially plants). Eating real food will always give you the energy you need.

Raw Banana Bread Bites

All the great flavors of banana bread rolled up into energy-giving bites.

  • 11 dates
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup


  1. Mix all ingredients together in a medium-size mixing bowl; by hand or with a mixer. Chill the mixture in the fridge for 20 minutes, or until moldable. 

  2. Roll raw banana bread mixture into 1/2 or 1-inch bites, and store in the fridge or the freezer.
