A Smoothie Story: Rescued By Nutrients

And it just so happened to be one of those days where I couldn’t stop eating everything I told myself I shouldn’t.

One of the reasons why I’m not too hard on myself when those binge days happen, is because I know I can cure my nutrient-lacking-body with a SMOOTHIE.

As long as I have some frozen fruit and almond milk on hand, I will put any… ok, I will put MOST veggies in a smoothie; especially spinach… especially when all I ate beforehand was carbs and fats and stuff that made me feel like (insert fart sound).

If you start with sweet fruit (like banana and blueberry), adding not-so-flavorful greens (like spinach) and veggies, probably won’t taste so bad (I barely taste the spinach).

Unlike the vegan smoothie recipes from my recently posted Ebook, this one contains a little bit of yogurt; feel free to omit, though.

Blueberry Banana Smoothie with Spinach

Start with a fruity smoothie made with Greek yogurt, add some spinach, and things just get even better.
